베토벤 교향곡 9번이 땡기는 계절이다. 빌헬름 푸르트뱅글러는 나에게 있어 영웅이었다.
그가 남긴 최후의 9번 음원은 타라가 가지고 있다.Details of Tahra reference 1003 (delete)
1997년이었던 거 같다. 이 음반 찾으려고 서울시 많이도 돌아다녔다. 당시 명동의 신세계 백화점 지하 음반 매장에서 찾아냈지만 가난해서 못 샀던 기억이 있다. 너무 비쌌다. 1954년 8월 22일 루체른 실황 녹음인데 그는 이 역사적인 지휘를 하고 같은 해 11월 30일에 돌아가셨다.
타라 웹에서 알아본 결과 이 음반은 절판되었고 (delete 라는 단어가 너무 밉다) 대신 아래와 같은 커플링 음반이 존재한다고 한다. 한숨이 절로 나오는 순간이다. 이제는 구하기 어렵겠다 싶다. 중고 음반을 구하는 방법이 있겠지만.Reference Furt 1067/1070

베토벤 3,5,6, 그리고 9번에 브람스 까지 음반 가격 되게 비싸겠네. 음 검색해보니 50파운드에 팔리고 있다. 너무하다. 파리를 다 뒤져서라도 찾고야 말겠다.
